When I was younger, my dream was to be a photojournalist for National Geographic. Then I got married and dreams of a family and babies took over. Documenting births seemed like the perfect compromise between the need to act on my photojournalism desires - telling stories through images - and the need to grow my own family, and be available for them. From births came sessions for itty bitties, then the families of itty bitties...

Today, I'm the wife to a man with a kind heart, the mother to a little girl with an adventurous spirit, and a follower of Jesus Christ.

The name eleventhirtysix images comes from Luke 11:36.

Therefore, if your whole body is full of light, and no part of it dark,

it will be completely lighted, as when the light of a lamp shines on you.

I look forward to getting to know your family and capturing moments that you'll treasure for a lifetime.
